The place is amazing and fairly clean. the staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. There is a wide array of food available in the lounge area. It is situated next door to the train station in a beautiful area.

The location is very convenient with easy access to transportation options like the bus stop and Higashiyama Station. It's just a short walk to the main city of Kyoto, temples, shrines, the river, and tourist spots. the building is well-maintained and the rooms are spacious, just as shown in the pictures.

the a twin room we stayed in was airy exactly like in the pictures. climate control, a personal safe and flat-screen tv were perfect.

Too bad that we didn't have time, but we would definitely return here. Booked a superior double room exactly like in the pictures. Location: the hotel was close enough to the convenient store and tourist spots and train, shops, bus and easy access for day trips. Dined at Asuka, it was relatively close to the venue.

The rooms at Tassel Hotel Sanjo Shirakawa are cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. The flat-screen TV and free toiletries were a nice touch. I loved having free WiFi and a safe in the room, making it convenient for me as a tech-savvy traveler.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the soundproofing in the quadruple room. However, I understand that some guests might appreciate it for a peaceful sleep.

Free breakfast is served, with a limited selection of bread, muffins, juice, and milk. the elegant and tiny hotel has beautiful views of the river.

The hotel lacks a few basic facilities like hangers in the bathroom, and some rooms don't have a great view of the street.

The room here was big and had a nice breeze flowing through. They even had an electric kettle and a fridge, just in case you needed them. Also, the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom felt so fancy 👌.
